Who’s who and Who controls your data.
GE Vernova has partnered with Toys For Tots to launch this exciting global campaign to provide STEM toys to children while attempting to set a new World Record for the largest donation of toys in 24 hours. Your participation is voluntary and will require disclosing some Personal Information about you to enable your transaction to be fulfilled and to authenticate GE Vernova’s participation in the Guinness World Record.
This Toys for Tots portal is managed by Tremor, who is the primary controller of your personal information. Tremor collects your name, email, employer, address, location, payment details, and the goods you choose to donate. Tremor will share transaction information with Stripe to process your payment and purchase details with Group Sales to deliver the goods. Stripe and Group Sales act as independent controllers for the information they need to provide their services.
GE Vernova and Guinness World Records will not receive your direct personal information. Tremor will only share de-identified transaction information with GE Vernova and Guinness World Records, which they will control for reporting and campaign administration. The information shared will be a unique identifier assigned to your transaction, your first name and your country and state (if applicable). GE Vernova and Guiness World Records will not be able to identify you from this information.
What we use your information for.
Tremor uses your information to run the donation process, take payment, manage delivery, keep records, and meet legal and contractual obligations. GE Vernova and Guinness World Records use the de-identified information to administer and evaluate the campaign, and support audit and transparency purposes. Tremor keeps personal information only as long as needed to meet its contractual and legal duties, and Guinness World Records and GE Vernova may keep the de‑identified data indefinitely for potential future audits.
International transfers.
All parties with access to personal information are located in the USA. If you are in a region with data transfer rules (such as the EU/EEA or UK), Tremor will rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses or equivalent) when transferring your information. Your choice and your rights.
Participation is voluntary and conditional on your agreement to the terms of use for your personal information. In some jurisdictions, you may have privacy rights—such as access, deletion, correction, objection, or restriction—explained in the detailed notices and subject to applicable law.
